1-on-1 meetings and performance reviews
Your next performance review is being written right now.
Every 1-on-1 you run in SimpleSynk — the agenda you both wrote, the notes you took together, the promises that actually got kept — becomes the record you'll be desperate for in six months.

Every 1-on-1 adds to it. Nothing has to be reconstructed later.
The problem
You know how this goes
You meet every week. It's a good conversation. You mean it when you say you'll look into the promotion track.
Then it lives in a Google Doc called 1:1 — Marta that neither of you opens between meetings. Six months later you're writing her review from memory and a Slack search, and you can't remember whether the thing she raised in March ever got fixed.
The problem was never that you don't have 1-on-1s. It's that they don't add up to anything.
How it works
Three steps. That's the whole product.
Both of you add topics before the meeting
Not a manager’s agenda. A shared one. Nobody arrives wondering what this is about, and nobody has to open with "so… anything on your mind?"
You write the notes together, live
One page, both people can see it. No private manager doc that leaks a different version of the truth later.
Action items follow you into the next one
Each has an owner. They stay on the agenda until they’re done. Nothing gets quietly dropped because everyone got busy.
Then it just accumulates. Which is the whole point.
A shared agenda
Both people add topics before the meeting. It’s their meeting too.
Notes in one place
Written together during the conversation, kept with the meeting — not scattered across six documents and a Slack thread.
Action items that carry over
Each one has an owner and follows you into the next 1-on-1 until it’s done.
History that survives people leaving
When someone leaves the team, their meetings and notes stay intact for the person they met with. Two years of context doesn’t walk out the door with an offboarding checklist.
Roles that match how a company actually works
Owner, admin, and manager permissions, so whoever handles HR or IT can help without reading everyone’s private conversations.
An audit log
Role changes, invites, removals — all recorded. For the day someone asks who changed what.
The features you're not paying for
- No bot joins your call
- Nobody is recording your 1-on-1s, transcribing them, or summarising them for an AI. The other tools in this category now lead with recording. We think a 1-on-1 is the one meeting that shouldn’t be on tape.
- No engagement dashboard
- No sentiment score, no heatmap, no weekly pulse survey your team learns to click through without reading.
- No OKR module
- You almost certainly already have somewhere you track goals. This isn’t it.
- Not locked to Microsoft
- Or to Slack, or to Google. Works wherever your team already works.
- No demo, no onboarding fee, no annual contract
- Others charge for an implementation call before you’ve run a meeting. You’ll be set up before that call would have been scheduled.
- Cancel from the billing page
- Two clicks. No retention call, no notice period, no clause you missed.
- Your data stays in the EU
- Card details never touch our servers — Stripe handles those entirely.

Reviews, without review software
Performance review season is a research project. You reconstruct six months from memory, ask three people what they remember, and write something vague enough to be safe.
It shouldn't be. You had twenty-four conversations with this person. You wrote them down. The review should mostly already exist.
That's what we're building next: review cycles assembled from the 1-on-1s you already ran. Not a separate module with rating scales, weightings and a calibration meeting — just the record, organised, with room for you both to reflect on it.
Running your 1-on-1s here now means it'll be there when you need it.
Free for up to 3 people. €8 per person after that.
Billed monthly. Archive someone and their seat comes off the next invoice, while their history stays with whoever met with them.

- We already do this in Google Docs / Notion.
- Then you already believe in the habit — that’s the hard part done. What you don’t have is action items that carry over on their own, or a record that survives someone leaving. Bring the docs with you; nothing here stops you pasting them in.
- Is my team’s stuff private from HR?
- Yes. Admins manage people, roles and billing. They don’t read your 1-on-1s. That separation is why the permission model exists at all.
- What happens if we stop paying?
- Your history stays readable. We don’t hold notes hostage.
- Do you train AI on our conversations?
- No.
- How long does setup take?
- Invite your team, connect nothing, run a meeting. There is no implementation project.
